Frightening without the support of parents
Action Innocence is a Swiss association that defends the dignity and integrity of children in the online world. Its aim is to promote safe internet practice by reaching out to children, teenagers and their parents, and to teaching professionals and social workers.
Too many parents nowadays do not take enough time to teach their children about the online world. The dangers are manifold and include harassment, violent or inappropriate content, scams and identity theft. Action Innocence is conducting a campaign that advocates accompaniment on the internet through delivery of a striking message: the internet is a scary place without the support of parents. The concept is further developed by a film and a series of images in which everyday symbols of protection find themselves unable to provide the necessary support and protection in front of a screen.
